Mother o' gawd the weeks are flying by! I know it's been quiet around here of late but between taking a much needed little holiday away and getting my Christmas on with the mini monsters there just hasn't been a lot of time for photo editing and post-writing!

I have so many cool little craft projects I wanted to share but I've since realised that most other bloggers are working on all their Christmas stuff in October and there's no way I can actually do these things actually at Christmas time and still blog about them, so yeah, maybe next year!
But today Em is away with her grandfather, so I thought I'd use the opportunity to write a quick post about a pretty cool little idea for bringing Christmas into parts of your home that maybe wouldn't usually get decorated.
It started when Em asked me to draw a Christmas tree on the chalkboard wall, I added a set of battery powered lights and voila! Instant Christmas!
And then she wanted some fairy lights in her room, so I thought, why not try to do something similar in there? So I grabbed a roll of frog tape (doesn't damage the wall and is conveniently green!) and taped up a set of coloured lights over the outline. It was a 5 minute job and she LOVES it.
